Self-Assessment and Problem Evaluation

This project has provided me with a lot of responsibility on how much effort I put in to try and understand the math problems. I was very determined to ensure that I understood what each problem meant by asking my classmates for help whenever I was stuck. I would give myself a 9/10 for a self-assessment grade because although I did my best to learn the math problems from others, I had difficulty explaining my own ideas/solutions to my classmates.

Although I enjoyed the freedom we had to discuss with our classmates on how to solve the problems, there were times were I didn't know how to begin to solve the problems and it would have benefited me to have a guided lesson from a teacher. I enjoyed how this project provided such a wide variety of math problems, but I felt as though a lot of those problems didn't match the capabilities of the students. This project just reaffirms my belief that I best understand math when I am given a step by step lecture, but it has shown to continue to learn even without having that guidance.
