Tableaus For Humanity
Tableaus For Humanity is a project aimed towards helping students make informed prediction about the future and use multiple theories to analyze ideas. We achieved this by combining our knowledge of human morals and elaborate theories on human and animal survival that were written by Garrett Hardin. Its product is a student-written vignette and a professional tableau. I worked in a group of four with each person writing one paragraph and I felt as though my group worked amazingly well despite our different writing styles. Our own story focuses on an extreme imbalance of the sexes which leaves women being the superior sex; the message behind it is about the importance of equal rights and is inspired by G. I also deeply enjoyed another group's idea of a technological society where books are illegal and any form of creativity is stopped to keep citizens under control.
