10 Seconds Physics

In this project we had to make a video with short clips that show examples of any science topic we've learned about. We also had to includeour own example. My partner, Rachel, and I picked the topic buoyancy, which is the ability of a liquid to keep things afloat. There are two ways a material can float, it has to be less dense than the liquid or weigh less than the liquid's displacement. Each clip was chosen because they represent at least one of these traits. The clip me and Rachel filmed of the eraser and the bowl of water, which can be found at the end of the video, proves that something denser than the liquid(eraser) can float if it displaces enough liquid(eraser in plastic bottom).
