Silent Spring
Silent Spring is a novel written by Rachel Carson back in the 1960's. It was about the rampant use of pesticides and herbicides that occurred around that time period. The unmindful use of harmful toxins by humans started to affect the health of the environment, animals, insects, birds, and even themselves. We were often given a prompt to answers after each chapter in order to reflect on the immense power we have over the environment.
